This research was aimed to investigate the impact of employee involvement in performanceappraisal system\u27s arrangement and implementation process toward employees\u27 jobsatisfaction increase at a publisher of Yogyakarta. Subjects of the research consist of twelveemployees, six subjects for experiment group and six subject for control group. Experimentgroup was involved in the arrangement and implementation process of performanceappraisal system. By involving the employees in a whole performance appraisal systemprocess, the employees would have the clarity of performance appraisal objectives,understand the expected performance, find out the performance outcomes, perceive thejustice of performance appraisal, in order to increase the employees\u27 job satisfaction. Mann-Whitney U non parametric analysis result indicated that involving the employees in anarrangement and implementation process of performance appraisal system increased theemployees\u27 job satisfaction significantly.
